Celebrity Horoscope
Russell Brand
Russell Brand was born on Wednesday, June 4th, 1975. With the Sun and Mercury in Gemini, it will seem he can’t sit down and relax for more than two minutes. Russell has always got to be on the go. His mind must be continually active. Russell’s need for personal freedom is strong; he has a natural changeability that is as charming to those who are captivated by his charisma as it can be annoying for anyone who tries to pin him down. There’s a childlike quality to his nature, a love of learning and communication and travel is another thing that will appease his restless Gemini personality.
Russell made his theatrical debut in Bugsy Malone at the age of 15. While taking a three-year scholarship at a drama centre, in his spare time, he performed as a stand up comic in pubs around London. In 2004, Russell hosted E4’s Big Brother discussion series and his one man show Better Now was a complete sell out in the Edinburgh Festival. Russell continued his work on Big Brother in 2005 and 2006 and this led to his own series on MTV Dance Floor Chart. His first film role was in the 2007 film, St Trinian’s.
Russell has the Moon, Mars and Jupiter in Aries. He’s assertive and lively and will sometimes act impulsively and yet, with the Sun linking with Pluto, there is emotional depth, persistence and the ability to work secretively towards plans that he won’t reveal to anyone. A Sun/Neptune link suggests a tendency to avoid commitment and emotional involvements. He doesn’t want to feel trapped. This link can also lead to escapism through drugs and alcohol. Russell started using drugs after school but has been clean for three years. These experiences formed the basis of his comedy routines.
With his quick Gemini wit and with Mercury and Venus linking with Uranus in his chart, Russell aims to outrage and talks about drug abuse and group sex in a way others might discuss what they had for breakfast. Russell is a unique, inventive and independent thinker, thriving best when blazing new trails on the frontiers of knowledge and communication.
With Mars and Jupiter in ardent Aries, Russell is passionate about sex. He admits ‘There’s nothing especially peculiar or odd about my erotic predilections. It’s the scale of my sexual endeavours that causes the problems.’ His Gemini need for change and variety and innate restlessness encourages him to plunge into anything exciting and erotic. Russell admits that more than one relationship has collapsed because of his infidelity.
He has great mental drive and will continue to lavish his energy on his personal and professional aims. Even so, there is a big part of himself he will always keep private and with the Sun linking with Pluto, there is a deeper, intensely emotional and more serious side that the public will never get to see!
