Emphasis is on private matters and you will be looking to get more time to make study involved with a special project easier. Try not to take chances of any description; for the moment it would be best to be thorough, even if this takes longer to get results. The possibility of friction with a loved one in the weekend is balanced by a specially harmonious few hours afterwards.

Taurus

Friends are used to your down-to-earth approach to life so you shouldn’t be surprised if they’re a little confused this week. After all, if you don’t know precisely what you want, how can they be expected to come up with any sensible suggestions? You’re in a strange mood when what you want one minute is all wrong the next. All you can do, for now, is go with the mood of the moment and avoid anything that is important or binding!

Gemini

You may have to accept the fact you will be working much harder than usual in the opening days of the week. You might be engaged in preparing a new project with a marked foreign element in it. This could have a major effect on your lifestyle over the months to come. There could well be a clash of personalities with someone you work with but the long-term picture is bright. Very soon you will be able to eliminate some of the hindering trends that have been present up to now.

Cancer

It might seem as if there is no solution to a problem others expect you to deal with. Taking your mind off the subject altogether will prove to be the fastest way of coping with the matter. Somehow, the answer will come to you in a flash of inspiration. Efforts made to keep your partner happy will call for more patience than usual but you will find it anyway. Be careful not to reveal information you’d prefer to strictly private to a nosy associate. You can be sure if they get to hear about it, this will be a secret no longer!

Leo

When it comes to making choices connected with your domestic world and shared budgets, expect to spend a little longer over these than first anticipated. What will happen is other people will point little things out you hadn’t previously noticed and this will influence your decisions and may even have you changing your mind about some issues. Your partner will be in a cheerful frame of mind these days and a day out they arrange as a surprise for you will give you something special to always remember.

A deeper understanding of those you love will now make itself felt. This is a wonderful week for in-depth conversations and for revealing all your hopes and wishes for the future. All the action towards the end of the week will be focused on your partnerships and a joint endeavour. In fact the old ‘two’s company’ tag will have a special meaning for you in the weekend when a strong degree of togetherness exists between you and your special someone.

If over recent weeks people have been making too many demands on you and your time, now is the time to change things. It will be possible to ease yourself gently out of such tedious situations so as not to upset anyone or leave them high and dry. You can put people in touch with organisations that might help them when you aren’t around to do so. Or you might suggest they start shouldering their own responsibilities with a warning that you won’t be around so much in the future to help them.

Scorpio

The week might get off to a somewhat bumpy start. In your one-to-one relationships especially, there is a note of tension between you. You might put it down to nothing more than a short burst of Monday Morning Blues and as the week wears on, you and your partner will once again be in tune with each other. Romance will add a glow to your life if you are single when a platonic relationship looks like changing into something more passionate.

You were born under a humanitarian sign and you are always willing to help the underdog. This week you might find yourself coming to the aid of someone in need, even if it means changing your own plans. You won’t think twice about giving in to the more compassionate side of your nature if you see someone is in need of some help, advice or just a shoulder to lean on. Opportunities for earning extra cash should be followed up very quickly.

Pisces

Someone’s actions, behaviour or remarks will arouse your curiosity. You have a hunch that what might seem like a throw-away remark actually hides some strong feelings or even resentment.
